“The Beauty I Couldn’t Yet Understand “ - Original Art 40 x 50
The Beauty I Couldn’t Yet Understand
40 x 50 inches unframed
43 x 53 framed
Acrylic, oil pastel, and stucco on canvas
Framed in natural wood upon purchase
This large-scale mixed media piece was created during a season marked by questions without answers. It’s about living inside moments that don’t yet make sense—when you’re too close to see the pattern, too zoomed in to understand the why.
Soft layers of coastal blue, moss green, cream, lavender, and warm blush build upon one another with acrylic, oil pastel, and stucco. Each layer was applied with both restraint and abandon, letting texture and intuition guide the process. There are visible breaks, areas of tension, and unexpected softness throughout—just like life when it’s still unfolding.
It’s a painting about eternity’s perspective. A reminder that what feels broken now may one day be seen as necessary, even beautiful. The longer you stand in front of it, the more it reveals.
This piece will be framed in a natural wood floater frame upon purchase. Please allow 1–2 weeks for framing.
Finished dimensions will be approximately 42 x 52 inches.
